Guests will receive a 50% refund for bookings canceled, in writing, more 30 days prior to reservation date.
Cancellations within 30 days of reservation date are non-refundable.
The Everwoods reserves the right to cancel a booking should the property become uninhabitable for any reason. We will not allow guests to stay if the condition of the cabin is dangerous or not fully operational both for your safety and ours. In this instance, the guest will receive a full refund.
What is the check-in and check-out time and process?
Contact-free check-in is from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Check in details, including your door code, will be sent by email the morning of your arrival.
Check out is by 11:00 AM on the scheduled day; your access code will cease to work at this time. We cannot accommodate late checkouts due to our cleaning schedule and turnover for our next guests.

Garbage: Please drop your garbage bag in the marked bins outside.
Linens can stay on the beds, please leave used towels in the bathrooms. Any missing towels (hot tub or bath) ($30), linens ($60), or throws ($50) will be charged to the registered guest.
Please close and lock all windows and doors securely.
Can I bring my pet?
We love animals, but we cannot accept them at The Everwoods for many reasons. The Everwoods has a strict no pet policy. If a pet is brought to our cabins, it will result in being asked to leave the premises without refund plus the loss of security deposit in full. Additional charges may apply upon inspection.
Is there a minimum rental age?
Yes. The registered guest (reserving guest) must be at least 25 years of age. This guest assumes all responsibility and sole liability for any loss, injury, or accident suffered by all guests in your party while on the premises and for any damage or injury caused to the property or other persons. The reserving guest acknowledges each cabin’s maximum capacity (9 in the Lodge and 8 in the A-Frame.) We do not allow additional guests beyond this amount. Additional guests beyond our maximum capacity can result in being asked to leave the premises without refund plus the loss of security deposit in full. Third party bookings (reserving the cabin for someone else to stay) is strictly prohibited.
What kind of deposit is required?
We pre-authorize a $1000 refundable deposit on the reserving guest’s credit card due 3 days prior to the reservation. The reserving guest must agree to be held liable for all damages to the property or other guests upon booking confirmation. The deposit will be released upon inspection of the cabin after check-out.
What activities are available around The Everwoods?
The surrounding Hocking Hills area boasts state parks, national forests, hiking trails, caves, canoeing, adventure parks, zip-lining, rock climbing, horse trails, as well as year-round festivals, winery and brewery events. We offer hiking trails on our property for guests to enjoy. The loop trail is shared between the two cabins and the connector trails remain private to the guests of each respective cabin. We ask that all hikers leave no trace when exploring the trails. Littering, graffiti, harvesting, or harming vegetation or wildlife are strictly forbidden.
All guests, regardless of experience, are advised to stay on the marked trails, respect the rugged terrain, and to exercise caution at all times due to the hazards presented by the landscape. We strongly recommend proper footwear, such as hiking boots, be worn while on trails. We are lucky enough to have an array of wildlife on and around The Everwoods property. For your safety, we ask that you be aware and vigilant to not attract, disturb, or harass the animals or their habitat. This includes making sure all trash, especially food waste, be properly disposed of in marked bins or be kept inside. Consideration of the license to rent and stay at The Everwoods, all guests appreciate and assume the risks associated with these activities and the landscape hazards, and agree to hold the landowners harmless from any liabilities which could arise from such activities.
Are the cabins and property child-friendly?
Guests of all ages are welcome, however neither the cabins nor the property have been child-proofed. It is important for children to be supervised during their stay, especially around any fire feature and while exploring the natural terrain outside. There are fire features, ungated hot tubs, two-story decks, as well as natural areas on the property that require direct adult supervision.
We provide child-friendly dishes in each cabin. Guests under 2 years of age do not count towards the occupancy limit.
What if I encounter an issue during my stay?
We encourage guests to reach out directly right away if an issue arises during your stay with us. We will do everything in our power to remedy the situation to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. We ask that all potential guests recognize our cabins are in close proximity to state parks and rural, off-grid areas. This; on rare occasions, leads to intermittent loss of internet services and/or wildlife/insects on property. We take every precaution to ensure all issues are taken care of; however, we do not offer refunds for these types of instances. Upon booking our properties, you agree to hold land/property owners harmless if such/like issues arise.
