THE LODGE
The larger of our two cabins, The Lodge, sleeps 9 guests comfortably. There are three bedrooms; including a king master with en-suite bath and private balcony, two queen bedrooms with attached baths, and a queen under twin xl bunk nook in the loft space. Note: We recommend the top bunk for a child as space is limited.

The Lodge offers access to: Private hiking trails on property, a 6-person Scandinavian barrel sauna, hot tub and 9 person outdoor dining area on the beautiful covered deck, a large fire pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying each other's company, and a wood burning fireplace in the family room to cozy up to while on the couch.
The Lodge is conveniently located near everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer.
Whether you plan to lounge and relax, hike, canoe, horseback ride, zipline, tour wineries or attend one of the many festivals hosted in the area, The Lodge is the perfect home-base. There is so much beauty and so many sights to see - we would be happy to help you put together an itinerary for your stay!

Our favorite space in The Lodge is the kitchen! It’s our favorite because it’s beautiful, but also because it’s where the snacks are. We spent a lot of time thinking about how to make this a comfortable and inviting space for our guests. We offer all the cooking wares and utensils you could need to prepare and serve a delicious meal for all of your guests.

Kitchen Basics: We stock basic kitchen needs such as cooking spray, condiments, sugar and some spices, along with a few special extras to make your trip most enjoyable!​​

Beverage Bar: We know that morning routines are important, even while on vacation. That's why The Lodge features a full beverage bar with your choice of pour-over coffee, full-pot, single cup, Nespresso, or tea with an instant-hot kettle. You'll have a hard time deciding from an assortment of espresso pods, coffees & teas to choose from.
LIVING AREA:

The family room of The Lodge is the perfect place for families and friends to relax and unwind. The sofas are beyond heavenly and buttery soft. While cozying up on the sofa, you have the most amazing views of the wood burning fireplace and floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the deck and our very own Everwoods private forest.

We offer a 65" Smart TV with Sling provided (which offers over 150 channels), or login to your own streaming services and pick up right where you left off on your favorite shows. Please note that data speeds vary and streaming is not always available due to our rural location.
OUTDOOR:

The outdoor areas of The Lodge offer access to private hiking trails on property, Scandinavian barrel sauna, a 6-person hot tub and 9-person dining area on the beautiful and sprawling back deck, and a large fire pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying each other's company.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT PROVIDE FIREWOOD for the fire pit or fireplace. Large piles of wood tend to attract critters and we prefer our guests to not have to deal with that on their vacation. Many neighbors sell firewood bundles by the roadside on the honor system.

LODGE ACCESS: Guests will have access to the full cabin and 10 acre property. We ask that Lodge guests respect the privacy of the A-Frame guests, which is located on the adjacent side of the property. There are shared hiking trails between the two cabins. Inside the Lodge, guests will have access to all spaces minus the locked storage closets, where tools and restock items are kept.

PARKING: There is a large gravel parking area directly outside of the cabin. We recommend 4-wheel drive due to the grade of the driveway, especially in the winter months.

LODGE CLEANLINESS: We employ a local, high-level, professional cleaning team who understands the cleanliness standards we have set for our cabins. Together, we make certain our guests are able to settle in and feel confident in a sparkling clean home away from home.

LODGE QUIRKS: We love the modern, cozy comfort of The Everwoods Lodge. It allows us to unplug from our busy and sometimes chaotic day to day life. The Lodge is truly a home away from home, but it is not totally without quirks. We are on a septic system, which means only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet and there is no garbage disposal. We also have well water (with a softener system making it perfectly safe to drink and bathe in). Some guests prefer to bring bottled water during their stay. While we have the premier Starlink Wi-Fi system setup in our cabin, we are in an extremely rural area where the internet is often spotty. We ask that you come prepared to unplug in the case that the Wi-Fi signal is not perfect during your stay. Finally, we professionally treat the property for pests; however we are located in the woods and do not offer refunds if bugs are found in or around the property!

A FEW ITEMS TO NOTE ABOUT RENTING THE EVERWOODS LODGE:

No Pets: Despite being animal lovers, we do not permit pets for a variety of reasons. No exceptions.

No Smoking: The cabin is a non-smoking property, which includes both inside and outside of the property and includes tobacco, natural and vaping.

No Motorized Vehicles or Bicycles allowed on the hiking trails.

No Parties or Large Events: Parties and/or large events are not allowed at the cabin. Violations will result in the guest being removed from the property without refund. PS: No glitter or confetti, no exceptions!

Rental Agreement: We require a rental agreement to be signed prior to your stay. Should the agreement not be signed, we reserve the right to cancel your stay.

Security System: We utilize a Ring doorbell and one additional outdoor security camera that faces the driveway area. We use both of these for the safety of our guests and our cabins. They will not be monitored, aside from check-in, during your stay unless an issue arises. Covering or disabling either of these devices, in any way, is strictly prohibited and will result in being removed from the property without a refund.
