The Everwoods Timber Haus Cabin offers the perfect setup for a two person getaway. The Timber Haus is romantic yet transitional, perfect for any groups of two guests! The Timber Haus is tucked within a field of greenery and seasonal florals, boasting a gorgeous forested backdrop.
This cabin offers: A private hot tub illuminated by string lights in the backyard, a large fire pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows, al fresco dining + conversation area on the back deck for enjoying the sunset and each other's company, and luxurious comfort ideal for a Hocking Hills getaway. The Timber Haus boasts a king bed with luxe bedding, rain shower in the indulgent bathroom, smart tv in the living space, well stocked kitchen + coffee bar, and Starlink internet. Note: In true Scandinavian fashion, The Timber Haus is situated in a beautiful field and offers coziness both inside and out. Please know that this cabin is not wooded, although the backdrop certainly is. The hot tub is in the backyard with a privacy fence between it and the only other visible cabin in the area allowing for total comfort while using this amenity (the other cabin belongs to us as well and is about 5 acres away.) Inside, the living room faces the road in which the cabin sits and does not offer curtains or shades due to the size, shape, and overall beauty of the window. The bedroom sits at the back of the cabin and boasts a window overlooking the backyard, with no window treatment needed due to the location. We mention this to ensure you are fully comfortable when staying at The Timber Haus.
The Timber Haus is conveniently located near everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer.

We offer all the cooking ware and utensils you could need to prepare and serve a delicious meal for two: pots & pans, dinner service for 2 guests (plates, bowls, silverware, and kitchen basics). Please Note: There is not a full-sized oven at this cabin. We offer an Our Place mini counter oven, microwave, and crockpot. There is a 2-burner induction cooktop, as well.

Kitchen Basics: We will stock basic kitchen needs such as cooking spray and some spices, along with a few special extras to make your trip most enjoyable!

Beverage Bar: We know that morning routines are important, even while on vacation. That's why The Timber Haus features a coffee and tea bar, with your choice of pour-over coffee, drip, or tea with an instant-hot kettle.
LIVING AREA:

The family room of The Timber Haus is the perfect place for couples to get cozy and relax. The Crypton sofa is beyond heavenly and buttery soft. While cozying up on the sofa, you have the most amazing view from the floor to ceiling window that is more of a work of art than it is a window.

If you are too relaxed or tired to explore, you can pull out a board game or turn your attention to the large Smart TV that is waiting for you in "guest mode" to use your own streaming services and pick up right where you left off on your favorite shows.
OUTDOOR:

The outdoor area of The Timber Haus offers an expansive deck, access to a hot tub illuminated by string lights, al fresco dining + conversation area on the deck, and a large fire pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying each other's company. We offer a Kenmore grill with propane provided.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT PROVIDE FIREWOOD for the fire pit. Large piles of wood tend to attract critters and we prefer our guests to not have to deal with that on their vacation. Many neighbors sell firewood bundles by the roadside on the honor system.

TIMBER HAUS ACCESS: We ask that Timber Haus guests respect the privacy of the Alpine guests, which is located on the adjacent side of the property. Inside the cabin, guests will have access to all spaces minus the locked owner's closet. Please note that The Timber Haus, while offering a gorgeous wooded backdrop, sits in an open field. It is not a wooded property and the road can be seen from the front of the cabin. The bedroom sits at the back of the property offering more privacy (and is not visible from the road.) The backyard offers the forest backdrop as well as privacy fencing just next to the hot tub. If more privacy than what we've described is desired, we recommend our Alpine cabin (sleeps 2) or our Lodge cabin (Sleeps 9.)
PARKING: There is a gravel parking area directly outside of the cabin. We recommend 4-wheel drive due to the grade of the driveway, especially in the winter months.
TIMBER HAUS CLEANLINESS: We employ a local, high-level, professional cleaning team who understands the cleanliness standards we have set for our cabins. Together, we make certain our guests are able to settle in and feel confident in a sparkling clean home away from home.
TIMBER HAUS QUIRKS: We love the modern, cozy comfort of The Everwoods Timber Haus. It allows us to unplug from our busy and sometimes chaotic day to day life. This cabin is truly a home away from home, but it is not totally without quirks. We are on a septic system, which means only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet and there is no garbage disposal.
We do not have a full-sized oven or dishwasher, at this cabin, but do provide a mini oven, dish soap and sponges.
We also have well water (with a softener system making it perfectly safe to drink and bathe in). Some guests prefer to bring bottled water during their stay.
While we have the premier Starlink Wi-Fi system setup in our cabin, we are in an extremely rural area, where the internet is often spotty. We ask that you come prepared to unplug, in the case that the Wi-Fi signal is not perfect during your stay.
Finally, we professionally treat the property for pests; however we are located in the woods and do not offer refunds if bugs are found in or around the property!
A FEW ITEMS TO NOTE ABOUT RENTING THE EVERWOODS TIMBER HAUS:

No Pets: Despite being animal lovers, we do not permit pets for a variety of reasons. No exceptions.

No Smoking: The cabin is a non-smoking property, which includes both inside and outside of the property and includes tobacco, natural and vaping.

No Parties or Events: Parties and/or events are not allowed at the cabin. Violations will result in the guest being removed from the property without refund. PS: No glitter or confetti, no exceptions!

Rental Agreement: We require a rental agreement to be signed prior to your stay. Should the agreement not be signed, we reserve the right to cancel your stay.

Security System: We utilize an outdoor security camera that faces the driveway area. We use this for the safety of our guests and our cabins. They will not be monitored, aside from check-in, during your stay unless an issue arises. Covering or disabling either of these devices, in any way, is strictly prohibited and will result in being removed from the property without a refund.
